1. Currency

Vietnamese currency is Vietnam Dong (VND). The information of the exchange rate can be found here.

Some restaurants, hotels or souvenir shops will accept US dollar and credit card, but not all. Therefore, it would be better to have the Vietnam Dong handly. Foreign currency can be exchanged into Dong at the airport or at any bank in the city. There are ATMs everywhere in Vietnam, and most will accept foreign cards.
